Become familiar with the world map and practise the basic topography of Australia. Press the cursor button in the toolbar to control the tool. The map contains several elements (cities, countries, etc.). Select an element to cover the name. Click on it again to uncover the name.
- The legend is displayed in the bottom-left corner. Click on the arrow to hide the legend, and click on the arrow again to make it reappear.
- In the top-right corner you see a blow-up of the world map with a red frame that indicates which part is visible in the tool. Click on the arrow to hide the blow-up. Click on the arrow again to make it reappear.
Click on the plus and minus sign in the toolbar to zoom in and out on the big map. Go back to the default size by clicking on the '100%' button. You can also navigate the map by clicking, holding and dragging from side to side. On a touchscreen, you can use your finger to navigate over the map. The red frame in the corner moves accordingly.
In the settings menu you can adjust the type of map and the elements that the map displays. With the toggle 'Show map labels', you can show or hide all the labels of the elements at once. Close the menu by clicking on the settings button again or by clicking anywhere outside of the menu window.
Select 'Practise mode' to practise the topography of Australia.
