Purpose

  • Practising divisions and additions up to 10 or 100
  • Making divisions and additions up to 10 or 100 second nature

Practise divisions of 10 with love hearts. Love hearts are two numbers that add up to 10. Find the two numbers that add up to ten.

Press the cursor button in the toolbar to control the tool. Drag a number in an empty box with dotted line and you will hear a sound. Drag the other number in the empty box on the other side of the heart. If they add up to ten, the heart will turn green. These numbers can then no longer be moved. If the numbers do not add up to ten, the heart will turn red. You can then pick up and rearrange the numbers.
Once all love hearts have been united, an animation will play. Click on the animation to make it disappear.

Select 'Reset' to clear all boxes. You can turn the sound on or off with the button in the bar. You can choose whether you want to make additions up to 10 or 100 in the settings menu.
