Brainstorming with ProConnect

Activating prior knowledge

Purpose

  • Knowledge sharing, visualising the main points and discovering a subject's structure

Make sure that Presenter is opened on the touchscreen withthe tool or the illustration you want to use and start ProConnect.

Students can also launch ProConnect on their own devices.

Start the brainstorm session with a question or comment and enable students to work together or react individually through ProConnect, making use of the ‘Share screen’ option or the ‘Mindmap’ tool.

The teacher or a student visualises the prior knowledge of the students in an orderly and correct fashion by writing this on or typing it into a touchscreen in Presenter. He or she asks questions, listens to the answers, gives feedback and continues to ask questions if necessary. During the brainstorm session, the teacher or student can demonstrate the acquired knowledge in Presenter via the 'Share screen’ function or by dragging the words into the mindmap

Save the presentation and open it during the next lesson to repeat the acquired knowledge.
